If anyone has noticed, they didn't update the druid armor like they promise they would. In one of the updates, they said they would update the druid armor on the next major update. I've waited to see this new druid armor they promised, and when the update finally came out. I went to go read the updates that they had made. Skimming through to see what they have updated for the 15k armor. All I saw was, updated necromancer armor, elementist armor, and mesmer armor. NOTHING about ranger druid armor! It was such a great dissapointment. Not only that but it was quite unfair. And as you can tell. They honestly don't care about rangers in the game.

Rangers only have 1 weapon, like someone had posted awhile ago. And their only weapon is a bow. Everyone else gets 2 choices of a weapon. Warriors have a choice from a sword, axe and hammer. Necromancers, elementists, mesmers, they all have 2 choices. Rangers.... one.

So as you can see, rangers are the least characters that gw gm would take care of. I even sent in a question to the gm. And they didn't give me a proper answer, they asked me "Did you buy the druid armor befor or after the update" I told them, that I didn't purchase the armor until I was fully sure that the new armor was out. Hours later, they gave me another e-mail. Telling me to post it on forums. They didn't give me a satisfied answer.

I always try to include a Ranger in our groups. I find them an important member of the team. Sorry about the armor though....Maybe they are working on some really sharp looking armor and it takes time to work out the kinks.....

Rangers have more than one choice... While they are all bows, there are at least 4 different kinds of bows... All at different rates of fire... and all at different accuracy rates... also at different ranges.

No, what I mean is a different type of weapon. Ex. Crossbow.

All swords (and such) are the same, only differing in appearance.
But there is a variety of bows within the bow class of weapons, with not only cosmetic differences, but also in refire rate, range and firing arc.

Everyone wants the updates that they want NOW. Patience please.

This is true, I was pleasantly surprised to see pets improved. Too bad they're still not any good for PvP.

They'll get all of the 15K armor eventually. Just wait a while.

they delay one week on delivering armor you and flip out. lol be patient its not that big a deal, its only cosmetic. And i wouldnt want to use a ranger with a cross bow. it wouldnt be .............rangerish lol

We do have another weapon, it's called a "Pet" ;-)
Besides, what would make a Crossbow any differant? We alread have Longbows to take care of Range and Short Bows to take care of Refire...

Come PvP me sometime. They are great for 4 vs 4 Arena. GvG and HoH isn't the end all, be all Arena (Although I have beat the HoH with my pet)

Crosswbows dont seem to fit as a ranger weapon. I just couldn't imagine my Ranger stood in his shiny new 15k druid with this lttle bit of wooden contraption.

maybe they haven't gotten around to updating the Druid armor, who knows...But they did offer infused armor for your pet...

Quit your whining... I have a ranger and you know what... who cares that they havn't updated the 15K armor yet? It takes time and money to pay people to do it... A.net have stated all 15K armor will be updated in due course...

Saying that the casters choice of staff vs wand is a bigger variety than the Rangers selection of bows is silly to say the least.

But my ranger characters (2) were also unhappy no new druids armor. But I have confidence they'll get to it...

Doggone it..there they go again, totally screwing over 1 segment to appease the other segment.

I was just talking with my Mesmer friends the other day, and I said, "Where are your cool pets?" TO which they shrugged and said, "Ranger stole em!"

Seriously however, Ranger love is coming - be patient. The game is almost brand new (release wise) and ANet has done more to fix inconsistencies and improve content in the past weeks than "other" (Read: SOE) has done in 5+ years.

Here's the quote the OP is refering to. In NO way does it say that the Druids would be updated during any specific update. It's from June 1st.
